My first foray into the web began in 1999, with a beautiful looking personal web page 
and soon after, I was developing websites professionally.
My first startup was a graduate recruitment website targeted at the Irish market, which was moderately successful, and only last year disappeared into the Internet ether.
For six and a half years I worked at the company I founded, Cloch Internet, which provided web application development as well as managed hosting services. Cloch Internet’s managed hosting services became part of Telecoms Solutions Group in March 2007.
Since March 2007 I have had the pleasure to work as a contract developer/consultant on a number of interesting projects varying from a web based Ticketing start-up to projects for government departments.
In addition to extensive web application development experience (primarily in PHP with Perl, .Net & JSP), I also have an excellent knowledge of MySQL in which I hold certifications, and web infrastructure including hosting, dns, server virtualisation and email systems.
